Sumo Paint is a chrome app, an image editing app. They say its the best hands down! It has lots of tools including 3D effects,over 300 brushes, shape and gradient tools. Pretty cool huh? 

Biodigital human is an app that simplifies the human body in 3D. It explains diseases and treatments. It shows the anatomy of the marvelous and exciting freak of nature that is the human body. Only God can make soomething that beautiful and complex. Go check it out. 

Prezi is really quite an app. Prezi is short for ( I am guessing) presentation. Which they are all about. They are helping presentations evolve. With this tool you can zoom in and out of your a visual map. It groups together your info in frames. It helps you relate better to your audience. plus all those slides to dont scare the

Audio Tool is like a music production studio right on your computer! It lets you do it right in the comfort of your home so no need to change out of those comfy jammies! It lets you create your own music and melodies. They offer three different drum machines and fourteen effects. You can let your imagination finally run free. 

Okay so apparently there is a Cyber Monday?! Never even heard of it. So I guess its like black Friday but for online shopping only. Its pretty cool. There are lots of good deals out there.

At Target there is a really good deal on a Dyson vacuum  Usually it is 640 bucks but only today it is 25% off! It is 487.49 dollars. For those of us who cant do head math you save 162 dollars. That's a prety good deal right there!  

Now this is a stinking awesome deal. You get a Samsung 60" LED flat screen TV for 1099 dollars at Best Buy. I know what ya'll are thinking THOUSAND DOLLARS! But really its not that bad, usually it is 1399. you save 300 dollars. That is a pretty sweet deal. 

So this was assignment from Huggins and I didn't finish it. I thought I could finish it later but it isn't Cyber Monday anymore! Sorry Mr. Huggins...

I never really thought about all the good technology does. I mean I know medicine is advancing and saving lives and stuff, but I never thought about like video games or iPads doing any good besides something to play on. Like not being a basic nessicity. But to that girl it is. 
           This girl was dignoised with severe autism when she was 2. She cant talk or do alto of things. She has always had a problem communicating with the world, even her family. Her family wondered who she was? What is she like? They have tried to use technology before to communicate but it never really clicked. In one of her sessions she started to type. And so when the first iPad came out they got her one. She has been able to communicate a lot better. There are apps that can let her call her friends. She can upload pictures she can show to communicate. Her family has gotten to know her. They say she is witty, bright and loves to joke around. It helped her fit in. It gave her freedom but most importantly it gave her a voice. 
                Technology for some of us is never putting down our phones or tablets. We are addicts. But for this family and many more it unlocks some important stuff. Like a voice. Technology is a good thing. Without it this girl would never be able to communicate, her family would never had gotten to know the real her. 

Election day is tomorrow and I have no idea who is going to win. I know who I want to win - Romney. He is pro life and against gay & lesbian marriage. Being a christian I know those things are wrong so I want a prez who agrees. I don't necessarily like all that he stands for but i  like him a whole lot better than Obama. I think Obama had his chance and that he blew it. He didn't come through with what he promised for example he said that he would lower the debt, he doubled it.   

Mr. Huggins told us to look up Real World Design Challenge. It looks pretty cool. I am not into that kinda thing but if it floats your boat go for it.  Mostly because I am not good on computers. It would look good on a college application though. And it expands your mind and your abilities. It would put YOu to the 

Hey everyone! This is my first blog so give me a break. Honestly, I don't really l now what to write so i am just going to tell you about myself  and how my site got started. Well, my name is Alix McKenna Nelson. I am from Tulsa. i have a little sister who gets on my nerves ALOT. But I still love her to death. I live with my mom and dad. My mom is a full time student and my dad is the youth minister at my church. My parents are awesome, literally the best. We all go to Grove's FBC and we love it there. Its a super cool church. That brings me to my next point. I am a Jesusfreak. Now, I don't act like it all the time but hey, at least I try. Umm, let's see, here is some random stuff. My biggest pet peeve is a dirty table and smacking. I can't stand it!! I really like Micheal Buble Christmas CD. And my favorite show is  X factor.
